Belly dance classes, workshops, and lessons in Elgin, IL
Eastern Groove is the home of Christina King's belly dance classes and workshops in the heart of Elgin, IL. We are located inside of Simple Balance Holistic Center at 221 E. Chicago St. We strive to maintain an inviting, nuturing, and creative place where dancers of all shapes, sizes, ages, levels, and styles can learn, grow, inspire, and be inspired by each other.
Classes Offered:
--Tribal Improvisation: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced
--Tribal Fusion: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced
--Egyptian Belly Dance: Beginner, Intermediate, And Advanced
--Technique and Drils: All levels, drop-in
Classes are limited to a small number of students, allowing for plenty of one-on-one correction and instruction as well as a friendly, community feel. The atmosphere is casual, but don't let that fool you! We work hard! Having entered the bellydance world back in 1993 and started her teaching career in 2003, Christina has the experience and knowledge it takes to bring out the best dancer in each of her students.
